Dear families

Thank you for your support in what has been a very odd start to 2025. Clearly the snow and ice has brought challenges and I would like to take this opportunity to thank the site team for their incredible work in getting the site safe and ready to open. I know that not every decision I have made this week has been popular, but I do believe we made the correct decisions that were in the best interests of everyone.

Next week, the weather looks to improve significantly and we will therefore revert to business as normal - full uniform, on time and ready to learn. I will update you via email and Facebook if there is any deviation to this. We have a relatively normal week next week as we work with students to settle back in to their excellent learning habits. On Wednesday we welcome Principals and Trust Leaders from across our trust for a full day of training and on Friday we welcome leaders from Buttershaw School who are coming to discuss school improvement with us.

My final notice of a short update this week is that we have moved our recognition evening to the 21 January. Families will receive further information on this in due course.
