Rachel Gould


Assistant Vice Principal

Having been born and raised in Leeds, Rachel studied English at the University of Birmingham. She has always been passionate about addressing educational disadvantage and through the Teach First programme, completed her teacher training in an inner city school in Manchester. Whilst at the school, she worked as a Head of Year and Head of the English department.

In 2011, Rachel joined the Dixons Multi-Academy Trust on the senior leadership team at Dixons Allerton Academy. She has a led on a variety of whole school initiatives including Post 16 study, Transition, Literacy across the curriculum, Raising achievement and progress and Child Protection and Safeguarding as well as working on projects across the Trust.

As of 1 September 2018 Rachel has worked as part of the Dixons Multi-Academy Trust in supporting Dixons Unity Academy to raise the expectations and aspirations of the students to ensure they achieve their potential and climb the mountain to university or a viable alternative.
